Will electric motorcycles ever catch on in America? 

Many are skeptical. And for good reason- unlike much of the world, motorcycles in the US are typically not considered basic transportation. Power, styling and brand allegiance propel most purchases. Efficiency is more of a liability. 

Yet the industry marches on toward a carbon neutral future. 

According to a recent article from Powersports Business production of electric-powered scooters in global markets will nearly double in 2026. Major players are investing big in the EV segment, as sales of ICE units are predicted to slide. As market share shifts it's only a matter of time before investment in "old technology" is also redirected.
