Hwy 64/74

Hwy 64/74 is a slow, winding scenic ride that takes you by Lake Ocoee and then beside the Ocoee River for approximately 17 miles. The 1996 White Water Olympics were held here and the White Water Center remains. Many rafters and kayakers in the area as well as a favorite of motorcyclists. After you pass the spillway (headed East toward Ducktown) the road flattens out and moves away from the river. Hwy 30 ( slow and narrow) begins here on the north side of Lake Ocoee and is also a scenic drive that will take you north to Reliance, TN.

Highway 315 will take you onto Tellico Plains, which is where the Cherohala Skyway begins. Hwy 68 -another great ride, that passes through Ducktown will also take you to Tellico Plains.The Cherohala Skyway take you to Robbinsville, NC- site of the beginning of the famous Tail of the Dragon.
