Any visit to South Louisiana should not be without this detour south of I-10 in southwest LA. Interesting small towns depicting French Louisiana in its purest presentation to the quiet lonelyness of the marsh are along its path. There is even a beach with nothing but sand and water to enjoy. Good chance on a weekday you will be alone. No traffic, a ferry ride, great roads, and beauty make up the road which is partially known as the Creole Nature Trail. It is definitely a scenic route to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. A ride report with pictures can be found at http://www.geocities.com/byumomee/82_first_page.html

Comments:Travel I-10.......... NOT!!!! and to mention camerons beaches, well thats a joke, the water is gross, the beach is filthy and reality sets in...
