The Crosstimbers riding area is south of the old Draper Lake ORV area. It offers plenty of red dirt (and lots of slippery mud in the rainy season) on a 1500 acre area criss-crossed by about 50 miles of trails. Most of the single-track trails are marked one-way for safety, and some are designated as motorcycle only.

Most of the trails are hard-pack or sand. There is a small MX practice track and beginner's area. The site also features an impressive parking area that is well designed for loading/unloading.

Purchase permits at the Draper Concession located at 8301 SE 104 or call 405/799-0870 for more details. The area is managed by the Crosstimber Riders Association and more information can be found online at the Okie Dirt Rider's website.

Comments:
Beginning April 1, 2008 there will be a new area for motorcycles only. It has many elevation changes and is 18 miles long. The existing motorcycle only area is 14 miles. The Atv/motorcycle area is 21 miles. This makes over 50 miles of one way only trials in the OKC metro area. Yearly permits are $60 and can be purchased at the Marina along with $10/ day. Youth permits are less.

Crosstimbers ORV park at Draper Lake in Oklahoma City has lots of land and trails, but specifically does not allow SIDE BY SIDES. No ATV over 53 inches. With all the new "UTV's" being sold it would be nice to include us in the fun! There is power in numbers gentlemen. More riders more potential land leased, more dollars in permits!
