Fast Facts: BSA

Country of Origin: United Kingdom

The Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) factory began producing motorcycles in 1910. The "motor-bicycle" had a 3 ½ horsepower motor and was called the Olympia. At one time BSA was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. But the Seventies saw the marque decline through poor management and facing stiff competition from Japan.
