Motorcycle helmets used to come in two flavors- open or closed. But that was the dark ages and now we can choose from a slew of specialized styles– full-face, 3/4, adventure, off-road and more. But the hottest trend right now are flip-up helmets.
Flip-ups offer the convenience of an open helmet with the protection of a full-face lid. At least that's the pitch.
