Triumph's Long Missing Touring Bike to Return in 2013.
It's touted as the most technologically advanced motorcycle ever from the Hinckley firm. Bristling with creature comforts and boasting 132 horsepower the new Trophy looks destined to be a hot mover.
Standard features include adjustable seat height (30.3" to 31.1"), adjustable headlight, center stand, powered windscreen, 6.6 gallon fuel tank, cruise control, traction control, lockable cubby with 12VDC power outlet and saddle bags. Two versions are being offered in Europe, but stateside we'll only get the Trophy SE model. The SE version includes electronically adjustable suspension and a Bluetooth audio system. A plug-and-play 55 liter top box is also available.
To keep everything silky smooth the three-cylinder engine includes a balance shaft and the shaft-drive design incorporates a torsional damping arrangement that cushions power output.
Look for the new Tophy to arrive in U.S. showrooms in January 2013.
