Results of a study released by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) indicate that motorcycles with ABS are 37% less likely to be involved in a fatal crash. Wow. That's a pretty big percentage- especially when you're talking dead versus not-dead.
The data is taken from motorcycle accidents that occurred from 2003 through 2008.
A new campaign from the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has sparked controversy among some riders. The public service campaign, called "Think.Ride." is a series of short videos that encourage proper safety gear and safe, responsible riding practices, and discourages impaired riding and excessive exhaust sound.
