Ducati rolled out an impressive display in Milano for the EICMA 2018 exposition. The lineup includes special editions and three brand new models for 2019.
Two new versions of the venerable Ducati Monster will be available next year, including a 25th anniversary edition. A special Panigale V4 S Corse (below) will also be offered in limited numbers.
Completely new models for 2019 include the Panigale V4 R, Diavel 1260 / S and Hypermotard 950 / SP. The MIG-RR, an electric-powered mountain bike was also on display. The new lineup shows a distinct focus on the "go anywhere" market with the new Hypermotard and Scrambler additions that will be sold alongside the current Multistrada. But the racing pedigree is still evident.
"Today, safety and rider-friendliness have hit new heights, yet the brand's sporting soul is as evident as it has ever been. The Panigale V4 R, in fact, is the most powerful factory motorcycle ever built by Ducati. We're also delighted with our online presence, an area that has enjoyed excellent growth, thus confirming the extraordinary appeal of the entire Ducati product range.”

Ducati no longer teeter on the brink of revolving ownership, which often left owners wondering whether their warranty was still valid. Since 2012 the Italian marque has been owned by Volkswagen Group and the infusion of cash and resources is beginning to show. This new lineup looks like another exciting step for a world-class motorcycle maker.
