BMW announced a number of updates that will be rolling out in 2017. Many of them involve the GS line- and a new GS-ish model.
The R1200GS and Adventure will be treated to a fresher instrument cluster in 2017. Minor technical changes to the drivetrain are also slated. Most notably a "judder damper," whatever that is. Aesthetically-speaking, a new Triple Black version will be available.
Not to be ignored, the smaller GS variants are also getting some love.
The F700GS, F800GS and F800GS Adventure will also see updated instrumentation, along with an improved throttle controller that adds new riding modes.
And the latest word on the RnineT Scrambler: watch for an unveiling in September.
