The unusual, the noteworthy, the bizarre: motorcycle stuff we found on eBay
Now here's a find on the auction block that is really unusual.
The extremely rare Munch Mammoth was the product of one man's dream to build a world-class superbike. Built around a 1200cc NSU automobile engine, the Mammoth truly was a mammoth by 1960's standards. While never considered nimble, the Munch could claim the title of fastest production motorcycle. Even though that "production" was pretty small compared to British or Japanese numbers at the time.
The example on eBay is a German bike now registered in the US. It is a 1972 model showing 14k miles. The seller, located in St. Louis, has even included a short video of the bike touring around the block.
