The ultimate dual-sport riders dream: navigate the entire U.S. without a paved road. That's what Sam Correro set out to do in 1995.
Today the Trans-America Trail stretches from eastern Tennessee to the Oregon coast, and hundreds of daring riders have made the journey.
The route snakes across public lands over gravel roads, abandoned railroad right-of-way and through creek beds. The TAT web site offers the route state-by-state on charts and rollmaps for your convenience in planning your next adventure.
