LET’S ROLL! This ride is a tribute to remember those who lost their lives on 9-11-2001 and for the brave men and women of the armed forces who are fighting for us today to keep us safe. Ride date: Saturday, September 11, 2010. FREE registration starts at Bayshore High School, 5401 34th St. West, Bradenton, FL. 34210, corner of 53rd Ave. W. (S.R.70) and 34th St. W. Registration is at the high school from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 pm. (a signed waiver/registration form is required) The fully escorted ride leaves from the high school parking lot at 6:00 p.m. Special thanks to the Manatee Sheriff’s Dept. for the escort. Manatee County Parks and Recreation for use of the park, The City of Bradenton Beach and the assistance of all County and City officials who have assisted with this event.
The ride will exit the parking lot turn right on 34th St. W., turn left at 53rd Ave. W. proceed to the 75th St.W. roundabout and head north on 75th St.W. At the Cortez Rd.W. and 75th St.W. intersection turning left, west on Cortez Rd.W. At Gulf Drive South turn left, continue to the southern Coquina Beach parking lot. Special thanks to the Manatee County Parks Dept. for opening up the beach parking lot to us.
This is a police escorted ride and all motorcyclists are encouraged to come out and support this event. The general public is encouraged to sit along the route on the sidewalks and cheer the bikers on! This is an open event open to all motorcycles and bike clubs. (This is a motorcycle ride only).
Hooters of Bradenton US 41 (14th St.) will host a Pre and after party.
